You can now buy Tesla’s Cybertruck directly for the first time, without putting down a $250 deposit and waiting for an email invite. This is because Tesla has now worked through its entire waiting list for the Cybertruck.

To Tesla’s credit, Reiss said there’s a lot of good technology within the car ― its steer-by-wire electronic steering system that eliminates the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels, for example, and an interesting flat-bottom steering wheel design, both of which other car manufacturers have also been experimenting with.

For the first time since its launch, Tesla’s Cybertruck is available for purchase without the need for a reservation.

So much for Cybertruck reservations? Tesla opened non-Foundation series Foundation orders to all, with deliveries as soon as October.
