Delta Air Lines said it is revamping the interiors of aircraft cabins across its fleet with new colors and lighting. It will include mood lighting for different phases of the flight and new seats with darker colors and memory foam cushions in Comfort+ and economy seats on wide-body jets.

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines is debuting a new look for the interior of their cabins later this fall ahead of its 100-year anniversary. The changes include updated seating and lighting and a transition from Delta’s blue color scheme to a navy and dark gray with red accents.

Delta Premium Select and First Class fliers will have a new seat cover over memory foam cushions with leather. Seating for Delta Comfort Plus and main cabin passengers will include a leather seat with new stitching and accents. On wide-body aircraft for long-haul flights, those seats will include memory foam cushions.

Delta Air Lines (DAL) just unveiled a cozy update for its passengers. The company says that it will soon begin rolling out new cabin designs to upgrade its jets’ interiors.

The refresh will debut on a narrowbody Boeing 757 this fall, with a widebody Airbus A350 set to follow in early 2025.

Delta Air Lines wants to elevate its passenger experience even before the plane leaves the ground. The airline, which next year will celebrate its centennial anniversary, announced on Tuesday that it is embarking on a "nose to tail" redesign of its interior cabins.
