A Heat roster largely locked in by luxury-tax constraints came together as expected at Saturday’s NBA cut-down deadline.

By staying under the second apron for now, the Heat is still allowed to aggregate salaries in a trade or send out cash in a trade. But because Miami is already above the first apron, it can’t take back more salary in a trade than it sends out.

The first cuts the Miami made was waiving former first round pick Nassir Little, Warren Washington and some Summer League standouts in Isaiah Stevens and Zyon Pullin. In the Heat's preseason finale win against the Memphis Grizzlies 114-109, Friday night, all of the players who got released played in the game.
