AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Trevor Etienne ran for three touchdowns, the first two set up by cornerback Daylen Everette's takeaways, and fifth-ranked Georgia went on to beat Quinn Ewers and No. 1 Texas 30-15 on Saturday night.

Texas hosts Georgia as the two programs meet for the first time as SEC opponents. Quinn Ewars and the Texas offense got a few first downs but ultimately couldn't get into Georgia territory. On third-and-nine, Georgia did an effective job with its man-to-man defense, forcing Ewars to throw it away. Both offenses stalled on their opening possessions.
