The new AP Top 25 college football poll is out. With the Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State Nittany Lions off this week, SEC and ACC powers took center stage Saturday. Before that, on Friday, the Oregon Ducks crushed the Purdue Boilermakers.

The Associated Press Poll Top 25 is headlined by the Oregon Ducks, who sit perched atop the nation with 1523 points and 59 first-place votes. The spot was opened up by the now-second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, who beat the previous No. 1 Texas Longhorns last Saturday and now hold two first-place votes; UT fell to fifth in the rankings.
