Drake Maye threw for 276 yards. He completed 26-of-37 passes, with two of those going for touchdowns. He had a number of explosive plays. He got the Patriots off to a fast start. And it wasn’t nearly enough in a 32-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Here’s a few highlights from Maye’s press conference following the loss.

The rookie quarterback said a fast start was in offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt’s game plan, but the team needs to figure out how to sustain that momentum.
